Mary Elmina (Cordier) Hall died at home July 12, 2017, with husband and children at her side. She entered Heavens Gates to join her family that had preceded her. Born on May 17, 1938, to John A. Cordier and Mary E. (Bailey) Cordier, Mary is preceded in death by parents, step mother Mary L. (Brown) Cordier, brother John P. Cordier, son James E. Hall, and twin granddaughters Finlee and Annalee Fisher. Surviving her are husband Eldon M. Hall of Merrill, MI, daughter Jacqueline I. (Hall) Lundy of Lansing, MI, Jeanine E. (Hall) Blair (Steve) of Freeland, MI, Jeffrey S. Hall (Kathy) of S. Charleston, OH, Jennifer R. Neitzke of Hemlock, MI, Joanna L. (Hall) Fisher (Dathan) of Glendale, AZ, sisters Alberta M. Tedrick of Manford, OK; Julie A. (Cordier) Huntoon (Denny) of New Lothrop, MI; 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In 1952, Mary's family moved to Owosso, MI. In 1953, she met her future husband, Eldon M. Hall at Owosso Bible College Academy. They married after high school graduation on June 16, 1956. They lived in Owosso until 1963, Midland until 1971, and Merrill where they currently reside.

Mary was a resourceful homemaker. She also loved to donate her time and talents to church and a variety of community programs. Those programs included 4-H, Merrill High School Band Boosters, Ernie Wallace Memorial Blood Bank, Operation Christmas Child, Underprivileged children's charities, and supported animal rescue organizations.

Her favorite times were spent with family and grandchildren. In her past, she enjoyed singing and being the pianist in the church choir, competitive pistol shooting, making homemade butter and cheese, and canning her homegrown vegetables. She also enjoyed raising her farm animals, camping, hunting, fishing, and square dancing.

The family will receive visitors at Reitz-Herzberg Funeral Home located at 1550 Midland Road, Saginaw, MI, from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, and on Sunday at 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Associate Pastor Chuck Seeley of Amazing Grace Church will officiate.
