Survived By: Surviving are two daughters and one son, Joseph (Gloria) Gumban, Chicago, Illinois; Rose (Jeff) Afante, Saginaw; Roselle Gumban, Saginaw; six grandchildren, Juliann, Andrew, Lynne Ross, JR, Anika, Adrian; three sisters, Carmen Boromeo, Mena Alvarico, Clemence Sabolboro; a brother, Maximo (Teresita) Sabolboro; many nieces and nephews. Aniceta was predeceased by a son, Reynan Gumban in 1996, by a grandson Joshua, a sister Nella Regala and three brothers, Sam Sabolboro, Wilfredo Sabolboro and Manolito Sabolboro. The family wishes to thank everyone involved in taking care of Mrs. Gumban.

Daughter of the late Angel and Mercedes (Gonzales) Sabolboro, Aniceta was born April 16, 1941 in Zamboanga, Philippines. She was married to Reynaldo Gumban on March 3, 1966. He predeceased her June 23, 2013. She was a teacher for almost 30 years. She came to the United States in 2000 to be with her family, especially her grandchildren. Aniceta enjoyed cooking and especially praying.

 Loving mother, grandmother and Mamang passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at Covenant HealthCare Rehab Center. Age 76 years.  Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service, led by Rev. Fr. Richard Bokinskie, will take place 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the charity of your choice.
