Barb would like to let you know that her work of 82 years is done.  She got a call and thought that the school board was making her a new job offer.  We all knew she ran the school, but this one was better yet and one she could not refuse.  This offer comes with a huge sign on bonus, endless hours with her family and friends that she has not seen in a long time and spectacular fishing with her husband, Walter.  Her new job description includes socializing, giggling, baking the best ever desserts and fishing.  Now we can stop there because once that word is spoken, the world stops, Barb is packed and camper is loaded, with extra bait and poles for those not so organized.

She had left detailed instructions to celebrate her mission here, which has been given to her children:  Teri (Dave) Grembi, Jeanne Krause, Timothy (Catherine) Krause, her grandchildren, Cory Cowell, Brianna (Andrew) Jesse, Brittany (Nolan) Felsing, Kyle (Ellen) Krause, Brennan Trick (Jake) and great-grandson, John William Cowell.  Theresa (Brian) Britton and Karen (Bill) Michaels were permanent family as well as several exchange students through the years.  Mom’s endless pot on the stove fed many other kids that she and Walt inspired in sports to excel that also became part of the family.  Her parents and siblings are waiting for her and have the banquet table set upon her acceptance of the new offer.

We will remember her giggles, her warmth, her energy, and her love for life, family and friends.  She made a difference in the lives of many.  Future plans are being made for over the Christmas Holiday to eat, drink and be merry in honor of her.  Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.

Barbara will be laid to rest with her husband, Walter Krause at a private ceremony at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Merrill.  Further notice will be sent out for her life celebration.  Please come and share her life adventures you all had with her at that time.  The stories are endless because her love for life was.
