  Ronald G. “Buddy” Hebert, age 79 years, died Thursday, August 31, 2017, at his residence.  He was born to the late George and Rolann Hebert on September 30, 1937 in Essexville.  Buddy graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School, Class of 1956.  He was a member of Holy Family Chapel, Knights of Columbus Essexville Council #2740, 4th Degree K of C  John F. Kennedy Assembly #503.  Buddy was a former member of the Clare Moose Lodge and B.P.O.E. Bay City Elks Club #88.  He enjoyed watching western movies and spending time with his grandchildren, which were his greatest love.  Buddy retired from the Asbestos Workers Local 47 after many years of service.

 

  On April 23, 2016, Buddy married Joan Jarema Farago at Holy Family Chapel in Bay City.  She survives him along with his children:  Christopher (Lynn), Curtis, Carrie (R. Scott) VanDell, Jim (Cim) Farago, Linda (Randy) White and John Farago; 14 grandchildren: Anna, Nathaniel, Jacob, Allison, Bradley, Anthony, Christina, Asher, Erica, Steven, Katie, Sara, Alli and Abigail; great-granddaughter, Madeline; brother: Fred (Phyllis); 2 sisters: Mary Lee (Mark) Fulkersin, Sharon (Earl) Badour; brother-in-law: Richard Duso; brothers and sisters-in-law:  John (Marilyn) Jarema, Kathy (Tom) Martin, Denny (Vicky) Jarema, Mariann (Allan) Rothschild, and Betty (Ken) Collins.  He was preceded in death by his wife Frances, daughter, Pamela, son-in-law: Gregory Larson; sister: Joann Duso, along with many sisters and brothers-in-law.  Special thank you to Marilyn Walters and Linda White for all their care and support.

 

  The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Chapel 1001 N. Linn St., Bay City, MI.  Fr. Joseph Greenwell will preside with Rite of Committal following in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Family Chapel.  Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with the Rosary, K of C Council #2740 Bible Presentation and K of C John F.
