Survived By: Allan is survived by his three children: Samantha (Brian) Klug, and Shannyn and Jordan Pelletier, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his former wives, Elizabeth Galiardi and Bev Pelletier.
Affiliations: He was a proud supporter of the One Hundred Club, served as Co-Advisor of the Bay City Police Explorers and worked at one time as a Reserved Special Deputy for the Bay County Sheriff's Department. Allan also had a special interest in Ham Radio and belonged to a Ham Radio club with his call sign being "KC8FCW".

Mr. Allan R. Pelletier, passed away unexpectedly the morning of October 9, 2017, age 62.  He was born October 10, 1954 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Russell and Romaine (Lokatys) Pelletier. He retired from Bay County Central Dispatch after 17 years of service and in more recent years worked for Bob’s Towing. 

Allan was an intelligent and knowledgeable person.  He enjoyed Science-Fiction and photography, but his real passion in life was Public Safety and Law Enforcement.  He was a proud supporter of the One Hundred Club, served as Co-Advisor of the Bay City Police Explorers and worked at one time as a Reserved Special Deputy for the Bay County Sheriff’s Department.  Allan also had a special interest in Ham Radio and belonged to a Ham Radio club with his call sign being “KC8FCW”.

Above all, Allan always wore a smile and had a kind heart.  He was known to remain positive and upbeat regardless of the situation.  He was a loving and devoted father not only to his children, but their friends as well, earning him the affectionate title of “Papa Al”.

Allan is survived by his three children:  Samantha (Brian) Klug, and Shannyn and Jordan Pelletier, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is also survived by his former wives, Elizabeth Galiardi and Bev Pelletier.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday October 14, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Squires Funeral Home, 211 N. Henry Street, Bay City, Michigan.  Pastor Joe Atchinson will preside with cremation to follow.  Friends may call Squires Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the wishes of the family.  www.squiresfuneralchapel.com
