Survived By: Surviving besides Alice are one son and two daughters, Craig Wesolek, Bay City; Holly Wesolek-Snelenberger, Midland; Pauline and William Bennett, Louisville, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Ken, Autumn, Sarah, Samantha, Ashley, Amanda, Luke, and Austin; one step-granddaughter, Abra; his great-grandson, Dean; two sisters and one brother, Marcia and Jim Brow, Richard Wesolek, Carol and Jeff Chorba; his aunt, Evelyn Couilard; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Luella Webber, a brother-in-law, Frankie Webber and a sister-in-law, Mary Lou May.

Son of the late Edward S. and Loretta (Ziemba) Wesolek, Edward was born May 24, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Alice J. Webber, his loving wife of 56 years, on April 15, 1961. She survives him. Edward was a meat cutter at A & P for 46 years. He attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Midland, Michigan. He played hockey, softball, was a coach and enjoyed all sports. He also enjoyed kayaking, biking, camping, sailing, the outdoors, playing cards and especially being a devoted family man.

 Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 4, 2017. Age 76 years. Son of the late Edward S. and Loretta (Ziemba) Wesolek, Edward was born May 24, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Alice J. Webber, his loving wife of 56 years, on April 15, 1961.  Funeral Liturgy will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3109 Swede Av., Midland, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Kevin Maksym will officiate. Honoring Mr. Wesolek’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw, Michigan, where the family will be present on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or Cancer Services of Midland. A special thanks to the Staff of U. of M.
