Mrs. Goulet 83 passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born in Bay City on March 7, 1934 to the late Otto & Vera (Hartley) Richter and lived her lifetime in the Kawkawlin area. Lois married Edward Goulet on February 6, 1960 at Sacred Heart Church. He survives her. Lois and Ed enjoyed traveling, wintering in Harlingen, Texas and enjoying their time on the Tittabawasse River.  Lois's family will always remember her as being a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her time with them. She enjoyed golfing, bird watching, needlework, and following the activities of her grandchildren. She volunteered at Ben Franklin School and the American Red Cross-Bay City, and attended Prince of Peace- Sacred Heart & St. Anne Church-Edenville.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years and their four children Mark (Joung) Goulet, Mike (Christine) Goulet, Kathy (Brooks) Cone and Lisa (David) Hagenbuch; 11 grandchildren:  Benjamin Goulet, Spencer Cone, Andrew Goulet, Simon Cone, Lauren Goulet, Amos Cone, Samuel Goulet, Abraham Cone, Hannah Goulet, Isabelle Hagenbuch and Jack Hagenbuch; a sister Marlene & Merlin Goulet.  She was preceded in death by Lyle & Opal (Reno) Richter and Charles Richter.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 9, 2017 at 7:30 pm at Rivertown Funeral Chapel, with Rev Fr. Daniel J. Fox OFM presiding.  Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a date to be announced. Family and friends will be greeted at Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Friday from 3 to 7 pm and Saturday from 3 to time of services.
