Survived By: Surviving besides his wife Connie are two children, David (Stacey) Ward, Bay City; Christina Davies, Freeland; six grandchildren, Kendal Ward, Alex LaFave, Mackenzie Davies, Karli Ward, Ava Ward and Caleb Davies; a brother, Tim (Kandy) Ward; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his grandson, David Andrew Ward; his three brothers, Terry, Dean and Dennis Ward.

 Devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at his home.  Age 71 years.  The son of the late Bay and Mable (Billsby) Ward, Bruce was born on April 3, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Constance “Connie” Galiardi on February 10, 1968. She survives him.  Bruce was employed at General Motors retiring in 1999 after 32 years of service. Bruce proudly served in the United States Army.  He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. Bruce enjoyed traveling up north with Connie, but his absolute greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and attending their social activities and sporting events.

 Surviving besides his wife Connie are two children, David (Stacey) Ward, Bay City; Christina Davies, Freeland; six grandchildren, Kendal Ward, Alex LaFave, Mackenzie Davies, Karli Ward, Ava Ward and Caleb Davies; a brother, Tim (Kandy) Ward; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his grandson, David Andrew Ward; his three brothers, Terry, Dean and Dennis Ward.

 Funeral Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Kayla Roosa will officiate with Military Honors rendered by V.F.W. Post #1859. Honoring Bruce’s wishes, cremation will follow.  Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Bruce Ward Scholarship Fund c/o Freeland Methodist Church.
