Dolores M. Bromberg, age 90 years, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at McLaren-Bay Region. Dolores was born on April 16, 1927 to the late Stanley and Mary (Marciniak) Nowak. She graduated from Central High School. On September 16, 1950, Dolores married Joseph Bromberg and he preceded her in death in 1968. Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church) and the Rosary Altar Society, and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She retired from Michigan Bell as an operator. Dolores enjoyed going to the casino, word search books, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Surviving family members include her three daughters: Anne Kukla, Mary Hubbard (Joe Sakaly) and Patricia (David) Petrowski; six grandchildren: Kimberly (Victor) Gutierrez De Pineres, Christopher Kukla, Christopher (Stephanie) Hubbard, Suzann (Erin) Hearn, Katelynn and Alexander Petrowski; six great-grandchildren: Lyndsey, Chloe, CJ, Grace, Victor Marcus and Oliver. Dolores was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael Kukla; sister, Florence T. Nowak and brothers, Leonard and Edmund Nowak.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday February17, 2018 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church), 1503 Kosciuszko Avenue in Bay City. Rev. Fr. Richard M. Filary will reside with Rite of Committal following at St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish Center. Visiting hours are Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with members of the St. Stan’s Rosary Altar Society praying the Rosary Friday at 2:00 PM at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel.
