Survived By: Surviving besides his wife Linda are three children, Becky (Nick) DuRussel, Saginaw; Daniel Alcock II and his fiancée, Angelina Guevara, Saginaw; Cody (Katrina) Alcock, Saginaw; five grandchildren, Tyler DuRussel, Alivia Alcock, Kyle DuRussel, Austin Alcock and Alexa Alcock; his mother-in-law, Jerry Tilot; four sisters, Kat (Mike) McKinley, Indiantown, Florida; Rae Anne (Jacob) Soles, Palmer Lake, Colorado; Janine (Kraig) Kubik, Freeland; Jennifer (Vincent) Mercier, Lake Orion; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie Tilot, Jackie (Dave) Brown, Jack (Angela) Tilot; uncle, Jerry Loibl; his canine companions, Sonny and Gigi; many nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jack Tilot and his two sisters-in-law, Robin and Sandy.

 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare-Harrison Campus.  Age 62 years.  The son of the late Frederick and JoAnne (Loibl) Alcock, Dan was born on November 8, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Linda Tilot on February 26, 1977. She survives him. Dan was an Electrician for I.B.E.W. Local Union #557. He was a member of Saginaw Field and Stream Club.  He was an avid hunter and golfer. He enjoyed traveling, but his greatest joy in life was his children and grandchildren.  He thrived on being “Mr. Fix-it” for anyone and everyone. He will always be remembered for his loyalty, integrity and his humorous one-liners.

 The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of Covenant Harrison 7th Floor for their loving and compassionate care.

 Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.  Pastor Edward Meyer will officiate.  Honoring Dan’s wishes, cremation will follow.  Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to I.B.E.W. Local Union #557 Scholarship Fund.
