Brenda DiBerardino

Birth: December 17th, 1947
Death: March 3rd, 2018
Age: 70 years
Residence:Birch Run

DiBerardino, Brenda Lois went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2018. She was 70 years old, born on December 17, 1947 in Morenci, Arizona to the late Casey & Lois Rice. She was baptized in 1957 at the North American Baptist Church, Morenci, Arizona. She met her husband Victor DiBerardino in Abiline, Texas and they were married on September 3, 1968. They moved to Michigan in 1969 and in 1976 built a house in the rural area outside of Birch Run where they continued to live and enjoy family, friends and youth groups. They were blessed with one son, John and his wife Tara, and three grandchildren. Brenda attended Hardin-Simmons University studying Political Science. She worked as a paralegal in Frankenmuth, MI for Stroebel Law Firm for 28 years preparing many estate plans, wills, and trusts.
In spite of being chronically ill most of her adult life, she never wavered in giving of her time, talent and love. Over the years she was involved with the Girls in Action group, bible drill team, choirs and youth groups. She played the piano whenever needed and ministered wherever she could. In the late years of her life she gave countless hours at Wellspring Lutheran Home and Bavarian Comfort Care sharing the hope and peace of Jesus. Mixed among all of those acts of service she offered counsel and love to an incredible number of children, youth and adults that may have never gotten it any where else. And yet, she found time to be the best wife, mom, and “Nana” anyone could have ever hoped for. She did all of this while sick beyond what most of us knew and never with an expectation of anything in return.
She is survived by her husband Victor DiBerardino, their son, John (Tara) DiBerardino and their granddaughters Lauren, Hannah and Addison.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 12PM Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church, 9885 Maple Rd, Birch Run, MI 48415. Pastor Dwight Weimer officiating. Family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 12PM.
