Survived By: Serviving to cherish his memory are one son and two daughters, Alan Karl Roth, Kimberly Roth-Franklin and her husband Matthew, Cheryl Roth-Ciesielski; three grandchildren, Jasmine, Pat Karl and Corey Joy; two great-grandchildren, Darren and Axton; two sisters, Rosemary (Frank) Williams and Grace Glave; many nieces nephews and his sweet dog, Peanut. Karl was preceded in death by his son-in-law, James Ciesielski.
Affiliations: Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 86 years. Son of the late Karl C. and Alma (Buetow) Roth, Karl was born October 21, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Joyce Ann Lemmer on May 2, 1953. She predeceased him March 26, 2015. Karl proudly served in the Navy Reserve and was a member of VFW and American Legion Post #439. He was employed at the Saginaw Township Police Department in 1965 as a Patrol Officer, then Detective until October 1993 when he retired with 28 years of service. Karl was a volunteer Firefighter from 1967-1986 at Saginaw Township Station #3. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge #82, Pulaski Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles #497, Elf Khurafeh Shriners, Fraternal Order of Police Officers Lodge #105, Mason's Lodge, Saginaw County Law Enforcement Association and Fordney Club. Karl was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. In early years, Karl enjoyed taking his family on trips to Florida, snowmobiling and camping.

 Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 86 years. Son of the late Karl C. and Alma (Buetow) Roth, Karl was born October 21, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Joyce Ann Lemmer on May 2, 1953. She predeceased him March 26, 2015.  Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2565 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw. Pastor Edward Meyer will officiate. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #439. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. The Saginaw Township Fire Department will have a walk thru at 4:00 p.m. Sunday and the Masonic Lodge #77 will conduct a Memoial Service at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
