Survived By: Surviving besides his wife Theresa are one daughter and three sons, Beth (Tom) Rohde, Hemlock; Joseph Ciszewski, Bay City; Thomas (Debra) Ciszewski, Saginaw and Gerald (Patrice) Ciszewski, Merrill; nine grandchildren, Jason (Tiffany), Brandon (Emily) and Adam Rohde; Katie (Nathan) Block, Eric Ciszewski, Tim Morningstar and his fiancée Bethany Neveau, Nicole (Richard) Jones, Kayla (Jeremy) Badder, Zachary Ciszewski and his fiancée, Emily Simon;nine great-grandchildren.

 Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center.  Age 81 years.  The son of the late Stanley and Mildred (Miska) Ciszewski, Jim was born on October 16, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan.  He married Theresa Kleinebreil on May 12, 1956. She survives him. Jim was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear as a Tool Grinder for 38 years retiring in 1992.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, golfing and was an avid Tigers baseball fan.  He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council # 7623 in Hale, Michigan and a former member of the Fordney Club.

 Surviving besides his wife Theresa are one daughter and three sons, Beth (Tom) Rohde, Hemlock; Joseph Ciszewski, Bay City; Thomas (Debra) Ciszewski, Saginaw and Gerald (Patrice) Ciszewski, Merrill; nine grandchildren, Jason (Tiffany), Brandon (Emily) and Adam Rohde; Katie (Nathan) Block, Eric Ciszewski, Tim Morningstar and his fiancée Bethany Neveau, Nicole (Richard) Jones, Kayla (Jeremy) Badder, Zachary Ciszewski and his fiancée, Emily Simon; nine great-grandchildren.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. John XXIII Parish – St. Mary Catholic Church in Hemlock.  Rev. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with interment to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery.  Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Family and friends will pray the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  The family requests no flowers and those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Knights of Columbus Council #7623.
