Kenneth Devere Corlew, 82, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 16, 2018. He was born in Gladwin on April 23, 1935 the son of Julius & Nellie (Combs) Corlew. On August 7, 1954 he married the love of his life Shirley Ann Buzzell in Gladwin.  He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and he retired from General Motors in Flint. He owned and operated S&K Lunch Wagon and traveled throughout Michigan selling Shirley’s delicious cookin’. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years: Shirley Corlew of Gladwin; daughters: Dixie (Bob) Bissonette; Betty (Floyd) Starr; Carol McKeever; son: Don (Sandy) Corlew all of Gladwin. His children blessed him with 11 beautiful grandchildren; 29 wonderful great grandchildren and 1 on the way; 4 precious great-great grandchildren and 1 more soon to arrive. He will be dearly missed by his brothers: Wayne (Fern) Corlew of Gladwin; Lester Corlew of Gladwin; Merrill (Carla) Corlew of Otisville; John (Jackie) Corlew of Mt. Morris; George (Caroline) Corlew of Gladwin; Vern (Sherry) Corlew of Beaverton; Dale (Anita) Corlew of Harrison; step-sister: Pat (Dave) Young of Flushing; sister in-laws: Judy, Nancy, Ruth and Gladys; several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents: Julius & Nellie Corlew; sister: Ann Smith; brother in-laws: Gordon, Russ, Lem and Bob. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Withrow on Saturday, April 21, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4-9:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at Butman Twp., Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
