Survived By: besides his wife Beverly are his children; Daniel Prell and significant other, Jan McNally of Reese; Roxsann Prell of Mio and Pamela Roth and her husband Steve of Reese; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Prell was predeceased by one brother and five sisters.
Affiliations: Paul was employed by the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #324 for many years and had also worked for Champagne and Marx in Saginaw retiring in 1993. After his retirement, he and Beverly moved to the home they built in Atlanta in 1995. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Reese and was active in bowling while living in the Reese area. He enjoyed playing Pool with his many friends in the Atlanta area.

Paul R. Prell, 86, of Atlanta, MI; formerly of Reese, died Sunday evening, April 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 11, 1931 in Blumfield Township, Saginaw County, son of the late Robert and Ida (Pilarski) Prell. Paul attended Reese Schools. He served his country with the U.S. Army, in Korea, with Co. A 50th Armored Infantry Battalion, 6th Armored Division. After his discharge from the service he married his wife of sixty-two years, the former Beverly Andrews, in the Christ Lutheran Church in Reese. She survives him. Paul was employed by the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #324 for many years and had also worked for Champagne and Marx in Saginaw retiring in 1993. After his retirement, he and Beverly moved to the home they built in Atlanta in 1995. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Reese and was active in bowling while living in the Reese area. He enjoyed playing Pool with his many friends in the Atlanta area.

 

Surviving besides his wife Beverly are his children; Daniel Prell and significant other, Jan McNally of Reese; Roxsann Prell of Mio and Pamela Roth and her husband Steve of Reese; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Prell was predeceased by one brother and five sisters.

 

Funeral Services will take place at 12: 30 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 from the Christ Lutheran Church in Reese. Reverend Dr. Ed Kloos will officiate with Committal Services to follow in the Blumfield Township Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be presented by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Mr. Prell’s

family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Christ Lutheran Church in Reese or the donor’s favorite charity.
