Survived By: Surviving are his children: Janet (Ken) Sly, Bruce Fetters, Deborah (George) Colley, Gary (Marianne) Reilly, Pam Katt, Linda Madol, Lester (Patti) Fetters, Jr., Wayne (Shannon) Fetters and Robert (Sharon) Fetters, 34 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Lester was predeceased by two sons, James and Dennis Fetters, one daughter Patricia Jewell, one great grandson Gage Anthony Fetters, two sisters, Evelyn McManus and Marcella Quick and one brother William Fetters.
Affiliations: Lester was a WWII veteran and served his country with the US Army. He previously owned and operated Fetters Restaurant in Linwood, which is now known as Linwood Corners. He enjoyed farming, deer hunting and watching the Detroit Tigers.

     Our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Horizon Senior Living, age 96.  Lester was born September 5, 1921 in Moose Lake, Minnesota to the late Robert and Lillian (Shake) Fetters.  He married Rosafern Scott in 1961 and she predeceased him in 1990.  Lester was a WWII veteran and served his country with the US Army.  He previously owned and operated Fetters Restaurant in Linwood, which is now known as Linwood Corners.  He enjoyed farming, deer hunting and watching the Detroit Tigers.

     The Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at Squires Funeral Home.  Pastor Joe Atchinson will officiate and interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday after 10:00 am.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Michigan Premier Hospice, 312 E.
