On June 12, 1948, she married the love of her life, LeRoy Catrell and they celebrated 56 years of marriage. In the 1960’s she drove school bus for Carmen Ainsworth. Eunice was always proud of her bus driving years and always spoke fondly of them and her fellow bus drivers. Oh, the funny stories she could tell.

She was a member of Buttons and Bows, Shadow Casters and Advancers of Cadillac. She was a member of the Methodist Faith. Eunice was an accomplished piano player. Eunice was a member of a band playing in Traverse City and Fife Lake area. When friends and family got together you could always find Eunice at the keyboard playing the “Old Time” favorites and dad and everyone would be singing along, particularly, the “Beer Barrel Polka”. In her younger years she enjoyed camping, pontooning, snowmobiling, campfires and traveling. Eunice enjoyed taking her grandchildren on outings to Deer Acres, the family cabin and L’DaRu.
