  Mr. Mark E. Rajewski, age 72, passed away early Saturday morning, May 12, 2018 at his residence.  The son of the late Ernest and Bernice (Marchlewicz) Rajewski, he was born on December 15, 1945 in Bay City.  Mark was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, where he also attended school, graduating from St. Stanislaus High School.  He was also a member of the St. George Society.  Mark went on to earn a degree in Engineering and after 40 years of service he retired from Grey Iron Foundry in 2004.  He was a huge University of Michigan fan his entire life.  Mark was an avid fisherman and enjoyed golf and bowling.

 

  Mark is survived by his wife, Jo Ann, whom he married on September 20, 1991.  He is also survived by his two step-children, Shelly (Steve) Chenoweth and Rick Kluka; two grandchildren, David and Christopher; his two brothers, Al (Nancy) Rajewski and Terry Rajewski; nieces and nephews, Scott Rajewski, Ashley (John) Mock and their children Caitlin and Alex, and Brian (Kathi) Rajewski and their children Blake and Gage; and two brothers-in-law, Owen Benjamin and John Brink.  Besides his parents, Mark was also preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Sandy Benjamin and Carol Brink.

 

  The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Hyacinth Church.  The Celebrant will be Fr. William J. Rutkowski with the Rite of Committal following at St. Stanislaus Kostka Mausoleum.  Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the W.A.
