Michalski, Margaret A. (Napolitano)

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home. She was 95 years old. Margaret Antoinette Napolitano was born on September 5, 1922 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Pasquale “Patsy” and Frances (DeStefano) Napolitano. During World War II, Margaret was a riveter working in the Gun Plant. On Victory Day she met her future husband, Leo W. Michalski. They were married on October 4, 1947 in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on August 28, 2006. Margaret worked for St. Mary’s Hospital as a nurse’s aide for 10 years and later for Prophet Foods at Steering Gear for 22 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and always shared her winnings with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She will forever be remembered for her hospitality to all by providing amazing meals to family and friends.
