Valerie Ann Revesz, age 82 years passed away Thursday, July 5 at her home surrounded by her children.  She was born on January 27, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Paul and Cecilia (Brown) Huebner.  On June 2, 1956 she was united in marriage to H. Dale Sudhoff who preceded her in death on January 4, 1977. They raised four children together, Martin, H. Dale Jr., John and Joyce.  On March 4, 1988 she married Frank Revesz and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2017. 

Valerie was a member of St. Frances X. Cabrini Catholic Church. Valerie enjoyed playing cards, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, visiting with friends and family.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed going on day trips with her friends and sister.

Surviving family include her children, Martin Sudhoff (girlfriend Kim), H. Dale (Lynn) Sudhoff Jr. and Joyce Raymond; brother, Donald (Jo Ann) Huebner, brother-in-law Paul (Fay) Sudhoff and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Grandchildren, Tara (Jeremy) Bradley, Justin (Ariel) Raymond, Valerie Lowery and Nicole Cavanaugh; great-grandchildren, Stryker, Italeigh and Cavana Bradley, Cameron and Hailee Raymond. Donavin Sudhoff, Isabella Lowery,Bryson Cavanaugh, and Emma Jean Hodge.

Step-children include Debra Baxter, Christine (Roger) Sulicki and Dean Revesz; step-grandchildren include Kimberly (Jeremy) Andres, Brandon Rose, Nicole (Josh) David, Rachel and Rebecca Revesz; step great-grandchildren: Brennen and Bryce Andres. Isaac Rose and Kylie and Grayson David.

Valerie was preceded in death by her son John Sudhoff (fiancée Peggy); sister Phyllis Sudhoff; brothers-in-law Joseph Sudhoff, Harold Sudhoff and Jim Sudhoff; sister-in-law Marceil Andrychuk and son-in-law Mike Raymond. 

Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home, 149 N. Main St. in Vassar. The funeral service will be led by family members Donald and Jo Ann Huebner and Tom Polzin and dear friend Gary Bassett.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.  The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The family would like to thank Tom Briggs, Leah Bassett, Gary Bassett, Patti Ostrander, Pat King, Janet Hecht, Tom Polzin, Irene Polzin and the staff of Reverence Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
