Survived By: Surviving are her four children: Tammy Colbert, Debbie (Tony) Brown, Donald (girlfriend, Jennifer Kuch) Joles and Richard (Betsy) Joles, nine grandchildren: Courtney, Lauren, Alyssa, Caleb, Hillarie, Alexzandrea, Anastasia, Nathan and Noah, one sister Delores LaFave and one sister-in-law Catherine McIllaney. Mary was predeceased by two brothers, Emmet (Marie) McIllaney and Richard McIllaney and one sister Catherine Martinez.
Affiliations: She was a seamstress at Sam's in Bay City many years ago and later worked as a sales clerk and sewing instructor at JoAnn Fabrics. Mary was very talented with sewing and crafts, she often made dresses for dolls and sold them and many other amazing crafts at various craft shows all over the state. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and did her best to be at all of their sporting events.

     Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and hero to our family passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region, age 74.  Mary was born February 13, 1944 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Emmet and Edna (Paul) McIllaney.  She was a seamstress at Sam’s in Bay City many years ago and later worked as a sales clerk and sewing instructor at JoAnn Fabrics.  Mary was very talented with sewing and crafts, she often made dresses for dolls and sold them and many other amazing crafts at various craft shows all over the state.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and did her best to be at all of their sporting events.

       The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at Ambrose Funeral Home.  Deacon Stanley Kuczynski will officiate and interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday after 10:00 am.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to “Family Wishes.”  www.ambrosefuneralchapel.com
