Survived By: Surviving to cherish her memory are one son and two daughters, Gerald and Christine Danhoff Jr, Curtis, Ohio; Catherine Danhoff and her companion Jeff Hardy, Tawas City; Tammy and Chris Bates, Vernon; 11 grandchildren, Jerrica, Brianna, Brandon, Jonah, Kaitlyn, Courtney, Taylor, Jason, Devon, Destiny and Evan; and Thea, an angel great-grandchild on the way; two sisters Sandra and Joe Taylor, Kathy Tyler; brother-in-law, Ed Brenske; many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Brenske and brother-in-law, Jack Tyler.

Daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Barnovitz) Elms, Mary was born July 30, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Gerald J. "Butch" Danhoff on December 26, 1964. He predeceased her December 27, 2005. Mary was a hospice care provider but her passion was her role as a mother and the raising of her children. She was a devote Catholic. Mary enjoyed sewing and embroidery.

 Loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her home. Age 74 years. Daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Barnovitz) Elms, Mary was born July 30, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Gerald J. “Butch” Danhoff on December 26, 1964. He predeceased her December 27, 2005. Mary was a hospice care provider but her passion was her role as a mother and the raising of her children. She was a devote Catholic. Mary enjoyed sewing and embroidery.

 Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Tyler Bischoff will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Heartland Hospice.
