MOORE, Marian B. – of Burt, age 85, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her home with family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday, July 16, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Brother Michael Watson officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions, in memory of Marian, may be made to McLaren Hospice.

Marian was born January 26, 1933 in Watersmeet, Michigan to the late Hilding and Mattie (Peacock) Anderson. She married Frank Moore on September 4, 1948 in Bergland, Michigan. He preceded her in death May 3, 2000. Marian was a cook at Medilodge in Montrose for 22 years. She was a member of Flushing Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Marian was an avid quilter and made beautiful quilts for her family. She enjoyed quilting, and embroidery. Marian loved animals, gardening, and tending to her flowers. Above all, Marian loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were all her entire world.

Surviving are: Daughters: Susan Burdgick (Lee Baker), and Connie (John) Kalfs; Son, Rocky (Theresa) Moore; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; Daughter in law, Susan Moore; Siblings: Velma Gidcumb, John Anderson, Albin Anderson, and Shirley “Pix” Anderson. Marian was also preceded in death by her sons: Allen Moore and Henry Moore; Brother, William Anderson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to McLaren Hospice – especially Sarah and Dawn, McLaren Hospital in Flint –11th floor nurses, Tammy and Juli, and Twin Township Ambulance Service for all their love and care of Marian.
