Lucille A (Reder) Wiesenauer passed away 07/26/2018 at the Bay County Medical Care Facility Born to Frank & Veronica (Zielinski) Reder and resided in this area all her life. Growing up she helped out on the Reder farm hoeing beans and other crops and milking the cows.  She graduated from St. James high school.  She worked at Dow Corning and after starting a family worked for the City of Auburn for many years as Clerk/Treasurer until her retirement.  Her favorite part of the job was reading water meters and checking in on all the residents of Auburn. She was a past recipient of Auburn’s Citizen of the Year and Grand Marshall of the Auburn Corn Fest parade and instrumental in helping to build Amaize-Place in the Auburn City Park. She was part of the Western High School Booster Club and participated in years Bingo fundraisers and also bowled with her husband in a mixed doubles league for many years, she was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She loved Christmas & had a collection of Christmas coffee cups. Survived by 4 children:  Peggy Zeilinger, James (Drew) Wiesenauer, Jill (Tim) Ostrander and Mark Wiesenauer The apples of her eye: Grandsons Brett & Adam Wiesenauer and godson Paul Wiesenauer. Siblings: Joanne Stange, Patricia Fritz & William (Marcia) Reder and John Reder Inlaws: Agnes Wiesenauer, Arthur Pfund, Edna Kennedy, Charlene Wiesenauer, Betty (Junior) Lutz.Predeceased by parents: Frank & Veronica Reder and Stanley & Marian Reder, husband Roland (Ike) Wiesenauer and brother James Reder

The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 1, 2018 at St. Gabriel Parish (Auburn-11 Mile and Midland Roads). Rev. Fr. Thomas E. Sutton will officiate with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery (Fisherville). Lucy’s family will receive friends at the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. on Tuesday from 1:00-8:00 p.m. On Wednesday morning she will lie in state at the CHURCH from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. There will be a parish vigil service 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Toni & Trish House home for the terminally ill or the St Gabriel parish building fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Lucille’s family would like to thank Cameron & the staff of 1East at Bay Medical Care Facility for the loving care they gave to Lucille
