Survived By: Surviving are three daughters and one son, James (MeLeah) Branch, Hemlock; Lynn (Raymond) Bills, West Branch; Karen Patterson, St. Charles; Sharon (Mark) Krzyzaniak, Bay City; seven grandchildren, Mike (Rose) Branch, Marcy (Joel) Rowley, Aaron Patterson, Eric Krzyzniak, Joshua Krzyzaniak ,T.J. Hensel and MaEva (Josh) Hunt; eight great-grandchildren, Brandon, Hallie, Jacob, Chloe, Oliver, Millie, Eldon, Heather and Lilly; one sister Janet (Ken) Maxson, Bridgeport; many nieces, nephews and special friends especially, Cindy Lauria and Cindy Pothoff. She also loved her caregivers, Kari Helfrecht and Stacie Loeblien and her family especially Stacie's grandchildren who called her Grandma Great. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Alan Branch, her brother Jack Hillman and her sister, Lois Filiatraut. A special thanks to Heartland Hospice for the love and care they had given.

He predeceased her on April 21, 2004. Dorothy was employed at General Motors for 15 years. She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Michigan. Dorothy enjoyed baking and gardening.

 Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family and her best friend, Little Twig Puddles.  Age 93 years.  The daughter of the late George and Leah (Loiselle) Hillman, Dorothy was born on July 1, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan.  She married DeWayne E. Branch on September 7, 1946.  He predeceased her on April 21, 2004. Dorothy was employed at General Motors for 15 years. She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Michigan. Dorothy enjoyed baking and gardening.

 Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty).  Pastor Mitch Vogeli will officiate with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Nativity Lutheran Church, Heartland Hospice or the family wishes.
