Betty (Boman) Leuenberger On Thursday, November 8, 2018 our cherished mom, Betty Gene Leuenberger, died peacefully at home surrounded by those who love her. We were very broken hearted to see her go, but knew she would be happy to join Jack, the husband she was married to for sixty-six years before his passing on July 7, 2012.

Betty was born on July 6, 1927 to John and Gladys Boman of Edenville. She graduated from Edenville School. Betty married the love of her life John (Jack) Leuenberger on June 30, 1946 in Edenville. They raised their three children inHope on the J&B Leuenberger Farm they owned together for many years. She retired from the Midland County Health Department after working 25 years. Morn and Dad enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends, as well as many happy winters with their friends in Phoenix, Arizona. She was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church and loved her God, who she prayed would take her quickly.

Mom is survived by her children Jerry (Betty) Leuenberger of Interlochen, Deb (Dick) Herkner of Hope and Jill (Dan) Teer of Hope; grandchildren Cameron (Emily) Leuenberger, Justin (Jacque) Leuenberger, Kara (Tim) Sutton, Kyle (Frankie) Herkner, Dan (Theresa) Teer and John (Kris) Teer; great-grandchildren Ayla, Daisy, Aubree, Xander, River, Ashley, Allison, Jordan, Jacob, Reece, Ryder, Matthew and Michael; sister-in-law Sally (Russ) Stanford, and several nieces and nephews.
