Burzynski; two sons-in-law, Wesley (Anna) Bellor and Allan (Ayee) Macapagal; grandchildren, Eila, Cindy, Jesse, and Eiron; sister, Esther (Eugene) Talaga; brother, C. Richard (Angie) Burzynski; brother-in-law, Edmund Heacock; special nephew, Conrad (Patty) Douglas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Affiliations: He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish St. Stanislaus Church. Bruce retired from General Motors after spending thirty-two and a half years there. He was a 3rd degree Brother Knight of the Knights of Columbus St. Stanislaus Kostka Council #12423 4th Degree Sir Knight of the Bishop Murphy Assembly #0491 and a member of St. Stan's Senior Citizens Club. On December 18, 2012 Bruce married his beloved wife, Tammy San Augstin, at St. Stanislaus Church. Bruce enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. He also had a love for horology; buying, selling, and collecting watches. His favorite television show was, "How Things Are Made". He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away in the evening hours of Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City, Michigan. Age 72 years. Bruce was born on February 17, 1946 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Conrad and Leona C. (Gornowicz) Burzynski. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Church. Bruce retired from General Motors after spending thirty-two and a half years there. He was a 3rd degree Brother Knight of the Knights of Columbus St. Stanislaus Kostka Council #12423 4th Degree Sir Knight of the Bishop Murphy Assembly #0491 and a member of St. Stan’s Senior Citizens Club. Bruce is reunited after many years with his parents; two sisters, Eunice Heacock and Connie (Art) Sochacki; brother, James (Joan) Burzynski; two nieces, Jeanie Talaga and Alice Sochacki; and nephew, Steve Sochacki.

 

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish – St. Stanislaus Church. Celebrant will be Fr. Rick Filary. Visitation will take place at the Ambrose Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 until the time of Mass. A Knights of Columbus Bible Presentation and Chalice Presentation for Bruce will be held Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Private Inurnment will take place at St. Stanislaus cemetery at a later date.
