Jean A. Sprenger, 81, of Coleman, died Wednesday January 16, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland.  She was born October 12, 1937 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Edgar & Hilda (Burns) Foster. Jean A. Foster married William (Bill) A. Sprenger June 6, 1959 in North Bradley.  Jean was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church.  She was a loving, caring wife, a devoted mother, grandmother and Christian witness. 

 

Survivors include her husband, Bill; son Mark & Laura Sprenger of Sanford, daughter Dawn Loose of Highlands, TX, son-in-law Randy Powell of Boon, MI; 6 grandchildren:  Kelsey & Marcus Covert, Alayna & Charles Matthews, Dustin Powell, Lindsey Powell, Samantha Loose and Nathan Loose; 2 great-grandchildren, Keegan Covert and Emma Matthews; brother and sister-in-law Lonnie and Connie Sprenger.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Julie A. Powell on April 3, 2014.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Nathan Reed officiating.  Burial will take place in Geneva Township Cemetery, North Bradley.  Friends may call at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and at the church on Monday starting at 10:00 am until the time of services.  Memorials are suggested to the Faith United Methodist Church.
