Survived By: Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Michelle Shooltz; four children, Kevin (Keturah) Shooltz, Brooke Shooltz, Rick Niedzinski, and Andrew (Kristine) Niedzinski; two granddaughters, Evelyn and Vera Niedzinski; mother, Betty Luce; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glenn and Charlotte Carey; brothers and sisters, David (Sue) Shooltz, Terry Shooltz, Barb (Gary) Behmlander, and Stacey (Randy) LaPreze; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Chris) Adamcyzk and Carol (Chris) Drury; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. After many years apart Larry is finally reunited with his father, Richard Shooltz, who predeceased him in 1987.
Affiliations: Larry was a self-employed carpenter for a living. He enjoyed watching sports, playing baseball and basketball, golfing, and hunting. Larry was one of the University of Michigan's biggest fans who supported them in a number of sporting events. He had a great sense of humor and "was always ready to have a good time". Nothing meant more to Larry then spending time with his family.

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the afternoon hours of Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, Michigan. Age 59 years. Larry was born in Bay City, Michigan on May 2, 1959 to his parents, Richard Shooltz and Betty Luce. He married his loving wife, Michelle Carey, on February 23, 1990 in Bay City, Michigan and she survives him. Larry was a self-employed carpenter for a living. He enjoyed watching sports, playing baseball and basketball, golfing, and hunting. Larry was one of the University of Michigan’s biggest fans who supported them in a number of sporting events. He had a great sense of humor and “was always ready to have a good time”. Nothing meant more to Larry then spending time with his family.

At the request of Larry, cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Visitation at the Ambrose Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 1:00 until 5:00 P.M.
