Barbara Ann Knochel, beloved sister and aunt, went to be with her Lord on Friday April 12, 2019. Barb was born in on November 25, 1946 in Bay City to Robert and Marian (Graf) Knochel. She lived in Kawkawlin, Michigan all of her life and worked as a secretary and office manager for the Cooperative Extension Service for over 36 years. After, retirement, she continued to maintain an office in her home and worked for the church and various family members until her passing. Barb was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church since 1966 and utilized the servant’ s heart God gave her by volunteering her time and energy in various ways. She was encourager to many.

Barb is survived by her brother Glenn & joy Knochel, her sisters Carolyn & Lee Schamback, Sandra  Knochel and Jane & Randy Wackerle; eight nieces and nephews Heather Schlorff, Jodi & Kent Andrzejewski, Kim & Nick Martin, Tessa & Vince Schlatter, Lori Schamback, Justin Schamback, Eric & Sarah Knochel and Mollee Wackerle; fifteen very dear great nieces and nephews and many who called her Aunt Barbie. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister in law Donna Knochel and a niece Shannon Schamback.

Funeral Services will be held Monday April 15, 2019 at 11 am from the Apostolic Christian Church with the Clergy of the Church presiding with burial in the Church Cemetery. Family will be present at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 2 to 8 pm. Om Monday Barbara will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of services
