Mannion, Thomas (Sandra) Mannion; great nieces, Jill (Mark) Manzi and Nicole Bennett; great-nephews, Brett (Kimberly) Mannion and Clint Mannion; many cousins and special friends. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eleanor Mannion Sr., father-in-law and mother- in-law, George and Josephine Nentwig and her brother Walter and June Mannion Jr.
Affiliations: Loving aunt and special friend passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital. Age 97 years. Daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor (Zimmerman) Mannion Sr., Elaine was born July 19, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan. Elaine was a 1939 graduate of Arthur Hill High School and attended Saginaw Business Institute. She was married to Romie Nentwig on November 12, 1946. He predeceased her September 12, 1976. Elaine was employed at WSAM radio station and then Booth Broadcasting Co. (WSGW/WIOG) radio stations as Business Manager and Administrative Assistant for 40 years retiring June 30, 1990. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and League of Catholic Women. Upon retirement she was a volunteer for the "Brown Bag Bunch", the St. Thomas Aquinas food program for the homeless and needy for 18 years. Elaine was very devoted to her church, family and friends.

 Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
